Delivery & Returns Policy

Please read our Delivery and Returns Policy carefully before using this website and when placing an order. Use of this website indicates that you accept the Delivery and Returns Policy terms and conditions and those of the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

We make every effort to allow as many customers as possible worldwide to purchase EarBuddies™ products. We hold no sway, however, over the Customs handling in individual countries, or the processing of international packages in the country of delivery. If the postal system in your country is unreliable, we recommend that you purchase through a Shop and Ship system such as Aramex.

1. Dispatch

Dispatch by Royal Mail and Royal Mail International normally takes place Monday to Friday only, and not at all on English Bank Holidays (approx 8 days per year). In calculating delivery times, it may also be necessary to make allowance at Christmas and New Year periods, when all postal systems are very busy. We make our very best efforts to send out goods in accordance with our targets, but give no guarantees nor offer compensation for delay in dispatch or arrival other than those offered by the carriers. We try to send out orders received by 15:00 UK time as same day dispatch. Orders received after this cut off time will usually be dispatched on the next business day. Please note that Royal Mail First Class Signed For items may be delivered on a Saturday with your normal mail. Check on www.royalmail.com for details of their service in your area.

2. Delivery
Within the UK : Goods within the UK are sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed For service. All such goods are carried according to the Terms and Conditions of Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com). All packs are verified as sealed upon dispatch, and any damage must be notified to, and claimed from Royal Mail. An attempt by Royal Mail to deliver will be considered equivalent to a delivery. We cannot be responsible for goods which are not picked up from the sorting office within the stipulated period.

Over 99% of our deliveries are successful, but you should be aware that the Royal Mail Signed For is not a guaranteed service - in case of loss or delay of dispatched product, you must claim for compensation direct from Royal Mail. This can take up to 6 weeks. See www.royalmail.com for full terms and conditions. Non-delivery must be notified with fourteen days of ordering. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses incurred as a result of an incorrectly supplied address, failure to accept the goods when delivery is attempted, or failure to accept goods within the time limit stipulated by the local delivery service. Shortages must be notified upon receipt. We require photographs of the front and back of the packing envelope in order to investigate a problem.

Outside the UK : We offer delivery outside the UK as a service but delivery within your own country depends upon the postal services of that country over which we have no control. International deliveries are sent out by Royal Mail International Signed For service and Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed service. All such goods are carried according to the Terms and Conditions of Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com). The goods are delivered within your own country by the postal authority of that country (usually your normal mail service). If no-one is available to sign, they are taken back to the depot to await your collection. An attempt to deliver will be considered equivalent to a delivery. All packs are verified as sealed upon dispatch, and any damage must be notified to, and claimed from the delivering postal authority. We cannot be responsible for postal service delays of any sort, service interruption due to severe weather, airline failure, customs processing or for goods which are not picked up from the sorting office within the stipulated period.

3. Estimated Delivery Times
Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, UK Bank Holidays and Holiday/Festival and Religious Days in all countries of delivery are NOT considered working or business days. The day of dispatch is not included in delivery estimates.

4. Our Refunds Policy
Customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven days of the day after the date the item is delivered. You must notify us in writing during this time period through our contact page to request a returns number which must be written on the outside of the packaging. All goods must be unopened and undamaged. We take product integrity very seriously and you should be aware that product packs have an invisible seal which shows evidence of tamper on screening. Your goods must arrive at our UK facility within 30 days of your receipt of the goods. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return, less the cost of postage.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning any items to us. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded (Signed For) delivery service, in case you need to claim compensation for loss or damage. Once confirmed, orders enter an automatic fulfilment process which cannot be cancelled. We are unable to accept returns of sterile items or medical preparations. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for products sent outside the European Union. A delivery refused or not picked up will be considered to be equivalent to a delivery. Any charges levied by the Postal Authority of your own country or by the Postal or Revenue and Customs Authority of the UK are the responsibility of the Customer.

5. Changes To Our Delivery and Returns Policy
The details of our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions and Delivery and Returns Policy may change over time. You should check these documents frequently to see if any recent amendments or additions have been made.
